More Behind the Scenes Peeks

To get more peeks at the BTS from my photoshoot over the weekend, just visit my write up at AmberUnmasked.com. As stated, they might not be considered safe for work but there's nothing actually exposed in the images. I can't wait for the final cut!

I'm also making videos of the shoots too but not sure what to do about hosting them somewhere because most places don't have any protection for subscriptions only or adults only. If anyone has any ideas, shoot me a message. I can't deal with the options that I've found want $100/month. Not gonna happen that way.

FBCC Winner!

While I'm extremely happy to have won the Facebook virtual comic con costume contest, I think the only reason I did is because there were only 7 entries. I am really blown away that Firestar has gotten such recognition for being a lovable character and for the effort I put into the costume.

Coverage at ComicVine

One my favorite websites is ComicVine.com. I quickly became a contributor there because it's just so damn addictive! Once you start surfing around getting tangled in the vine (a wiki for comics), you'll definitely agree. It's better than your average wiki in appearance. You really feel like you've tapped into a comic book.

That being said, I was SO excited today when I was notified that main man Red L.A.M.P. actually gave me some props regarding my geek crafts. Red and G-Man really keep things running over there so having them take a few minutes out of their schedules to put up a blog post about me and send a note really meant a lot.

Blog settings updated

I just had to update some settings for this blog because some posters were rather filthy or just plain rude in their comments. I had wanted it to be open so that people could express themselves but there's seriously no place for some of the garbage I had received. I only allow anonymous comments because I know what a pain it is to have to be registered on every single site however I have added word verification for one thing to prevent spam; and I've added a note that if you plan to post anonymously don't expect to be taken seriously. Warren Ellis will not allow users to create screen names on his web blogs because you need to own your words. The power of anonymity on the internet quite frankly gives people the balls they don't really have if they were face to face.

One particular comment regarding my Black Cat suit exclaimed that I somehow designed a black cat suit (lower case letters) only to show off my cleavage. Well, I didn't create the character of Black Cat. Marvel Comics did. She's one of Spider-Man's girlfriends and yes, she's very sexy. Artists have always drawn her with a voluptuous figure and plenty of cleavage exposed. I merely designed the pattern to create a real suit to be worn. To learn more about the character named Black Cat, visit ComicVine or Marvel.com.
